Art
Discovery of Art: Experimentation

Our classes for Level 3-4 students will begin to explore basic art theory as we spend more time on our Mixed Media projects.  Students will begin to blend classic art practices with modern concepts and will be encouraged to experiment with ideas and styles of their own.  Students will continue building visual libraries in their mind and using those libraries to create a collection of art pieces.  The main focus of this class is using thoughts and ideas to experiment with art and create new works with the artistic arsenal we have been building.

Art 3-4 - 9 years and older
Darby's dancers
At Pegasus Studios we believe that every child should have the opportunity to make positive connections through the arts.  Darby’s Dancers supports our mission of putting families first by supporting both the child and the parents. The Darby’s Dancers classes will be taught by a certified Rhythm Works instructor and teen volunteers from our STEP program will assist the children with special needs.

What people are saying...

My daughter walked through the doors of Pegasus Studio when she was 8 years old and has never looked back.  She immediately felt at home and, over the years, has had the confidence and curiosity to explore many styles of dance and to decide where her passion lies.  There are several highlights that must be acknowledged when talking about my daughter's experience at Pegasus.  The annual performance brings so much joy to everyone - the audience, the dancers, the teachers.  It is the culmination of a tremendous amount of hard work and has created memories that will last a lifetime.  As she has advanced in dance, my daughter has set goals for herself, has pushed herself beyond her perceived limits and has rejoiced in her achievements.  The day she was fitted for her first pair of pointe shoes was one of the happiest days of her life.  The teachers nurture the dancers while still exhibiting rigour and professionalism.  Pegasus has been an integral part of my daughter's life and has created an incredible, indelible mark on her childhood.

Sincerely,
Grace
