ON MY MIND
This week I invited a friend and colleague to our monthly Staff & Faculty Monthly Chat. As we are all feeling a little fatigued and as a Studio, wondering what more can we do for our children and each other, I wanted to make sure our staff and faculty were being loved and supported. What could I do to fill their minds and hearts? My friend, colleague and gifted speaker was just the person to share and lift our hearts!
She shares many of the same values as we do at Pegasus Studios so I knew she would be just the right person to give a little love and encouragement to us.
I wanted to share this with you and as I could not say this better, I borrowed this from her website;
‘Our goal is to instill skills in our students such as determination, motivation, self confidence, discipling, time management and respect for themselves and their peers among many other lessons. To learn to be gracious in winning and generous in defeat. By pushing themselves to the limit, seeing progress, and expecting more of them than would ever expect from themselves is what they have come to know.’
Thank you to Jennifer Chin-Gorner from Dance it Up with Music.
As this is not necessarily the right time to be pushing to reach the goals we thought we would be achieving this year, and we all have just the why and how in everything we do, we need to also take the care to be gentle, softer, patient and kind, while still ‘keeping the spark’ alive. That is why I am so excited for this Wednesday evening's call “Keep the Spark” with Misty, Leslie and Dr. Christine.
I will have my PJ’s on, so please, make this a priority and let's do this together!!
Let’s Be the Magic in the World!
