Uniform Girls: For ALL classes hair must be neatly pulled back off the face. For ALL Ballet classes hair must be worn in a proper Ballet bun. Creative Ballet – Primary Ballet Baby blue, sleeveless bodysuit and wrap skirt (Royal Academy of Dance regulation baby blue), white ankle socks and pink Ballet slippers. The previous uniform, pink short sleeve bodysuit and wrap skirt is still acceptable for Pre-Primary and Primary Ballet levels. Grade One Ballet – Grade Five Ballet Navy blue sleeveless bodysuit with elastic waist band, pink Ballet tights or white ankle socks (Grades 1-2 only) and pink Ballet slippers. Character skirts and black character shoes are also required. Grade One Ballet and Grade Two Ballet require low heeled character shoes, Grade Three Ballet and higher require high heeled character shoes. Grade Six Ballet – Grade Eight Ballet A coloured sleeveless bodysuit and matching chiffon skirt is required for the examinations. Pink Ballet tights, pink Ballet slippers, character skirt and high heeled character shoes are also required. Vocational Ballet Black sleeveless bodysuit, pink convertible tights, leather or canvas pink Ballet slippers. Pointe shoes may only be used in class with teacher’s permission. Combo Jazz/Tap 1 -3 Black sleeveless bodysuit, black jazz Capri length pants, black ankle socks and tap shoes. Jazz & Musical Theatre Black sleeveless bodysuit, black jazz Capri length pants, black ankle socks and jazz shoes. Tap Black sleeveless bodysuit, black jazz Capri length pants, black ankle socks and tap shoes. Modern Black sleeveless bodysuit, black jazz Capri length pants and bare feet. Hip Hop Black dancewear, pants should be hemmed above the shoes. Black dance sneakers or clean, black indoor running shoes and black ankle socks. Yoga 4 Kids & Yoga Choreography Suitable clothing that facilitates easy movement. Bare feet. Longer hair must be pulled neatly off the face. Yoga mat is recommended for the Yoga classes. No bras or underwear should be seen under dance uniforms or recital costumes. Skin toned bodysuit will be required under recital costumes for hygienic reasons. Pre-School Programs Suitable clothing that facilitates easy movement. Bare feet. Longer hair must be pulled neatly off the face. Boys: Boys Dance Black shorts, plain black t-shirt and bare feet. Creative Ballet – Primary Ballet Black shorts, plain white t-shirt, white ankle socks and white Ballet slippers. Grade One Ballet and Higher Short sleeve white bodysuit or fitted white t-shirt with black stretch pants, white socks, white Ballet slippers and character shoes. *Boys style white bodysuit with dance belt is required for examinations or presentation classes Jazz, Tap & Modern – All levels Black fitted t-shirt, black shorts or yoga Capri pants with Jazz or Tap shoes, or bare feet for Modern. Hip Hop Plain black t-shirt and sweat pants with clean indoor black running shoes. No writing or logos should be seen on any t-shirts or pants.
