| Musical Theatre 1 | Entry Level Technique, once a week program Days: Friday 5:15-6:00 Description: Musical Theatre 1 begins the exploration of singing, dancing and acting all at the same time! Students will work on all three elements in this program. Working with pieces from popular musicals, each student will discover self confidence and self expression through the three unique art forms and work towards combining them into one discipline. | Musical Theatre 2 | Entry Level Technique, once a week program Days: Friday 6:00-7:00 Description: In Musical Theatre 2, students continue to discover new ways to combine the disciplines of acting, dancing and singing. Work will focus on the techniques needed to perform all three elements at the same time. Ages: 8-9 yrs Girls and Boys |
| Musical Theatre 3 | Entry Level Technique, once a week program Days: Friday 7:00-8:00 Description: Musical Theatre 3 will explore the more intricate work involved in the unique discipline of Musical Theatre. Advanced music work will coincide with more intricate dance work and more demanding theatrical roles. Students develop self confidence in their performance skills as well as developing strong artistic expression. Ages: 10-12 yrs Girls and Boys |
| Musical Theatre 4 | Technique Focus Class, once a week program Days: Wednesday 7:00-8:00 Description: Musical Theatre 4 is the highest level offered at Pegasus. This class works on complex pieces that require advanced technical abilities in singing, dancing and acting. Students explore the relationship of the three disciplines together along with the relationship between audience and performer. Ages: 11 yrs & up OR by teacher placement Girls and Boys |
| Drama Club | Days: Saturday 12:30-2:00 Description: Theatre requires its participants to learn trust and respect for each other along with the ability to work as a team. The Drama Club is focused on building this energy through the development of a short production for the end of the session. With a focus on the process and a club mentality the team will contribute to all elements of our production, from the prep work, to behind the scenes, to performance. We will work as a group to produce a show that speaks to the individual interests of everyone in the club. Ages: 9-12 years Girls & Boys |
