The policies at Pegasus make us different...

The policies of Pegasus Studios are intended to retain the professional etiquette of our educational facility. They encourage respect of classes, students and teachers and focus on attendance as well as payment policies. They are intended to keep the school running efficiently so that we can focus on providing the students with all the resources they need to succeed in life. 

SCHOOL POLICIES

1. Pegasus' school year runs from September to May, with Recitals held the first week of June.
2. Arrangements for payment of yearly tuition must be made with registration.  Payment options are listed on the Tuition page.
3. Refunds will only be made on a monthly basis.  Notice must be given prior to the 1st of the month to withdraw from class.  The date of notification, not the date of absence, is considered the withdrawal date.
4. No refunds will be made after Feb. 1st
5. All refunds and cancellations will be less an administration fee of $30.00
6. Invoices are sent to delinquent accounts only.
7. All lessons are to be paid for whether the student is present or not.
8. Students are expected to attend every class and arrive on time.  Punctuality is necessary for students to receive the full benefit of the class.  Students who are late may be asked to sit and watch the class if the teacher feels they will not be properly warmed up.
9. Missed classes may be made up by arrangement with the Director.
10. Cancelled classes will be rescheduled at the majority's convenience.
11. All students are expected to be properly attired as per studio dress code including loose hair being tied securely off the face.
12. There is a $25.00 fee for NSF cheques.
13. If a course does not get sufficient registration full refunds will be given.
14. If a student is absent for more than three classes during the months of March through May, or is absent for Dress Rehearsal they may not be able to participate in the Recital.
15. Respect for yourself, teachers, classmates and the studio environment is important at all times.
16. Weather days – In the case of extreme weather disturbance (i.e snow storm) classes may be cancelled. A message will be written on the first page of our website and on our telephone answer machine message.
