RAD Examinations & Presentation Classes
We are awaiting our exam and presentation class dates from the Royal Academy of Dance. In the meantime, our students are busy preparing for the big day! Extra class schedule posted under "For Existing Students". Each year we participate in the Royal Academy of Dance examinations and presentation classes in Ballet. Participating students perform the syllabus work from class in front of an internationally certified examiner. Picture Day May 12-18 in regular class time. Recital costumes are ready! We arrange for a professional photographer to take pictures of each student in their recital costume and each class as a group. Picture Day and the purchase of pictures are completely optional. Junior Recitals May 27, 2012 Show A: 11:00 pm Show B: 1:00 pm Show C: 3:30 pm Show D: 5:30pm The junior students at Pegasus do their year-end performance! We provide costumes for each student and parents, family and friends are all welcome to attend the show. We also include a few performances from our senior dancers! Senior Recitals June 2, 2012 Performance 1: 12:00 pm Performance 2: 5:00 pm The senior dancer’s year-end performance! We rent a larger venue to house our Senior Recitals! The recitals will feature a group piece from each class done in professional costumes! Summer Camps July 2-27 – Intensive Dance and Full Day Dance Camp July 23-27 – Creative Arts Camp For our older students the Intensive Dance Camp, for our mature 6-14 year old students the Full Day Dance Camp and for our 3-6 year olds Creative Arts Camp. Each camp will focus on introducing or building on artistic practices, featuring dance, visual art, music and storytelling, among others. |
